Trials for the 2025-26 season Representative BOYS teams for U12, U13, U14 & U15 age groups will held in late February and March 2025.
Please note under NSJCA Eligibility Policy, players must be registered and have played a minimum of 3 games for an NSJCA club and/or NSJCA representative team, in accordance with the NSJCA Eligibility Rules (below) to be eligible to trial & play for the NSJCA.

Trialists are advised to regularly check the NSJCA website as details may change at short notice due to weather.
Trials for Representative GIRLS teams for U13 & U15 will also be held later in the year. The exact dates, times and venue will be advised via a separate announcement on the NSJCA web site (nsjca.asn.au).
Trials for the U11 Development Team playing in the IDCA Competition 2025-26 will be held in October 2025. The exact dates, times and venue will be advised via a separate announcement on the NSJCA web site (www.nsjca.asn.au) at a later date.
Age Criteria for Season 2025-26.
U12: 11 years old on 31 August 2025
U13: 12 years old on 31 August 2025
U14: 13 years old on 31 August 2025
U15: 14 years old on 31 August 2025
Any player wishing to trial for an older age group in the U12, U13, U14 and U15 trials will require approval from the NSJCA Representative Convenor or Executive Officer. (email reps@nsjca.asn.au). This will only be granted under extremely compelling circumstances. A player can only trial for one age group.

There will be two trials for 12s, 13s & 14s.
All players MUST register by 5pm on the Saturday before the first trial.

Week 1 trial:
For the U12 and U13 age groups, the trial 1 is split into two groups based on surname. Cricket Central (CC) has requested this to limit the number of people at the complex in Silverwater.

Week 2 trial:
The second (week 2) trial is invitation only (from players shortlisted from the first trial). The players invited back for the week 2 trial will have their names listed on the NSJCA website prior to the second trial. This is likely to be a centre wicket trial. Please note, there is no week 2 trial for the U15 age group.

NSJCA Eligibility Policy for Season 2025-26.
Under 12 and Under 13 Eligibility
NSJCA requires players to have registered with an NSJCA club and played at least 3 matches in an NSJCA competition in the 2024-25 season to be eligible to trial and represent the NSJCA in season 2025-26.
Under 14 and Under 15 Eligibility
NSJCA requires players to have registered and playing with an NSJCA club in season 2024-25 and either:
- played at least 3 matches in an NSJCA club competition in the 2024-25 season or
- played at least 1 match in an NSJCA club competition and 2 or more matches for an NSJCA representative team in the MYC or IDCA /Presidents Cup competitions in the 2024-25 season to achieve 3 match minimum criteria.
Any exception will require approval of the NSJCA Representative sub‐committee. Exceptions will be granted on changes of circumstances such as house moves and starting boarding school in the NSJCA area.
Cricket NSW also requires that MYC players can only represent the association where they have played the majority of their club cricket in the preceding season.
Any player who has not played the majority of their club cricket in the NSJCA Association and is granted an exception by the NSJCA will also need to notify CNSW Youth Championship management that they intend to trial with NSJCA by 1 March 2025.
